- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I don't know where to begin. First let me say this 1 star is not for my children's doctors or nurses. They have taken great care of them. This is for the Childrens DMC business office. This is exactly what they are a business for profit. I am a hardworking mom who pays her bills and does what she can. I do not appreciate being called 3 days before my daughters surgery and being told pay over $1k or reschedule when you can. They lied to me 3 weeks prior to her surgery about just bringing in something so and pay the rest on a plan. When I told the coordinator they are denying a child with a tumor in her leg surgery to relieve her pain she said" We are absolutely not denying her care, just asking you to reschedule until you are caught up" Really? What is the difference. If I am showing good faith and coming with half of what is owed including her procedure, what is the issue? After 3 days with a different answer every time the doctor finally stepped in and talked with management and we are proceeding but had to post pone again for 1 week as they just went ahead and cancelled it. Let me again state the Dr and the nurses are wonderful. The regular staff and the business office, not so much. How dare you hold a child hostage for profit. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Children's Hospital has been where I have taken my daughter since she was 2 yrs old. I have been satisfied with the service given and my daughter's asthma continues to be well controlled. Children's also 20 yrs ago saved my best friend's life as she had a tumor wrapped around her heart. 20 yrs later she was blessed to have a beautiful family of her own and is still cancer free because of God sending her to Children's and his healing taking place.November 30, 2016by La Kayla Stewart
